Three strategically located fast-charging hubs across Melbourne's key freight corridors. Operational from late 2026.
Australian Government Investment
Stage 1 of the NewVolt Network has been awarded $25.3 million in co-funding by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) under the Driving the Nation Program — Trucks, Charging and Innovation. The total project investment is $61.82 million.
ARENA's investment supports the development of Australia's first shared-use electric truck charging network, accelerating the commercial viability of battery electric freight and building the infrastructure foundation for national deployment.

Fleet Operations
Purpose-built for heavy vehicles. No fumbling, no configuration. Pull in, plug in, swipe your NewVolt Card.
Pull into your designated bay. Drive-through layout — no reversing, no manoeuvring. Contracted fleet customers have guaranteed bay access.
Plug in your CCS2 (or MCS) connector. Up to 400kW — or MCS where available. No configuration needed — the charger negotiates with your truck automatically.
Tap your NewVolt Card. Charging starts instantly. Every session is automatically logged against your fleet account — VIN level, energy consumed, carbon abatement.
Billing is fixed and predictable. Your Charging Service Agreement sets a monthly charging volume at a fixed rate — no variable fuel cost surprises and no per-session price fluctuations.
Every session is captured automatically. Fleet managers access a dashboard with per-vehicle performance metrics, total energy consumed, cost per session, and carbon abatement data.
Our 24/7 support team is available for drivers and fleet managers. Call or message any time.
Want to understand how a CSA works? Talk to us →For Foundation Customers
A significant portion of ARENA's investment is allocated directly to reducing the total cost of ownership gap for freight operators making the switch to battery electric trucks.
NewVolt is working with foundation customers now to apply this funding — reducing the upfront cost of electric trucks and making the economics work from day one.
Talk to Us About Your Fleet →Availability is limited. Fleet operators who commit early get priority access to subsidy allocation. Open to heavy and medium-duty fleet operators.
National Expansion
Stage 1 of the NewVolt Network is the start of a national shared charging network. Expanding across major metropolitan freight precincts and interstate corridors — including the Hume, Pacific and Newell Highways.

Australia's busiest long-haul freight route. 900 kilometres between Melbourne and Sydney. NewVolt is developing Australia's first zero-emission freight corridor along the Hume Highway — six charging hubs enabling relay operations for long-haul electric trucks.
Get Involved
Whether you're running 5 trucks or 500, we'll work with you on a Charging Service Agreement that fits your operation. Foundation customers who sign before the network opens receive priority bay access and fixed pricing — locking in cost certainty before the market moves.
